Cartographer is an explorer perk that reveals the expedition map in its entirety after the player reveals all of its locations. This makes for efficient travel to the Golden Pyramid and eases both hunting and avoiding enemies.
Tips[]
- This perk has limited use on its own, as its benefits would normally only kick in after exploring all essential terrain already.
- Cartographer is utilized best with items that reveal distant locations, such as weather balloons and Coston flares. The Geography perk can also help with revealing locations earlier in the expedition.
- Parties with already-increased view range (ex. with the Eagle Eye perk, Binoculars, or a Native Scout) may not find much use in the Cartographer perk.
