The Journalist perk adds extra fame points at the end of the expedition and is exclusive to the companion Tim Timster. This perk multiplies the total fame gained after finishing each expedition (but before donating any items). Specifically, the bonus fame gained is +5% for each level. In this way, in the first level the bonus is +5%, in the second +10%, in the third +15% and in the fourth +20%.
Benefit
While the perk itself is not very powerful, taking Tim Timster early on and quickly developing him will give you an edge over the other explorers and mitigate some of the fame loss if your expeditions do not go as planned.
