Rabies is a physical ailment that causes the afflicted companion to lose loyalty on shallow water terrain and at waterfalls. A rabid character will potentially attack the group and eventually die if left untreated. It can affect both humanoid and animal companions.
It is caused when traveling or resting at 0 Sanity, and can be cured by resting at Healing Springs or healing at a Shaman Hut.
